i really wish this was a love poem

a love poem portraying all of the emotions that i never could display

its crazy i hate leaving you but i never seem to stay

i constantly try to push my emotion to the back of my mind but they never seem to sway

and even if i get them there they never go away

i have been contently falling for you every second ever since that day

well that night

when we turned off the lights

and i layed there next to you

contemplating… we’ve connected on multiple levels now, can i get the rest of you

and i layed there chest pressed to you

arm around waist i confess to you 

i was undressing you

with my eyes they entire night

and i knew my intentions were wrong but in my defense it just felt…it just felt so right

and i just really wish this was a love poem 

a love poem with countless words

and maybe the words..

the adjectives, nouns, and verbs 

could organize my feelings because my mind cant seem to do it

trust i wanna tell u that i love u so bad, but am i inclined to really prove it?

and just in case i fall short of ur expectations

i remain patient….
